In an effort to improve race operations at ODS the following changes will be instituted immediately:

Red/Yellow Condition

Due to the unusual number of caution laps we have seen in recent races, ODS will use the following procedure to reduce the number of laps run under caution.
* When a red flag condition is unwarranted but there is a need to save race laps, a RED and YELLOW flag will be shown together on the flag stand. In this condition the cars will still circle the track, but laps will not be counted. As in a normal red flag condition NO work may be performed on cars until a full yellow is shown on the flag stand. During this time period if you have a damaged car and are sitting on pit road you will not be penalized laps until the full yellow is reinstated on the flag stand

Practice Times

To provide more effective practice for all cars, Late Model and Grand Stock practice will now be run in timed sessions with all cars participating as follows:
* When the practice session begins, the first 15 cars to approach the Stop & Go position will be sent onto the track immediately. Thereafter, each car that returns to the pits will be replaced on the track by a new car until the session time expires. If a car stays on track more than a reasonable period of time during a session it may be sent to the pits by a black flag to permit another car time on track.
