OLD DOMINION SPEEDWAY MINI-MODIFIED DIVISION
2004 RULES AND REGULATIONS version MM2004.B effective 1/31/04

The Mini-Modified division is designed to promote a greater interest in Stock Car Racing at less expense than the NASCAR LMSC division. Driver's that have competed in the Late Model Stock Car division are not eligible to compete in the Mini-Modified division. All cars must be stock in every way except as modifications allowed by these rules. The word "STOCK" means as it came from the factory for the particular model and year for a car. This includes replacement parts by part number. Any reference to NASCAR LMSC rule or section within these rules refers to the 2004 NASCAR Rule Book. These rules are subject to amendment at any time when notice has been given. Notice shall be deemed effective within two (2) weeks of the rule amendment and posting of the rule change by Old Dominion Speedway.

1. Competing Car Models Compact, four cylinder, front engine American and Foreign two door model sedans, 1970 through 1999, as approved for competition by ODS. No convertibles, four wheel drive, sports cars, trucks or station wagons allowed. No turbo, rotary or cosworth engined cars allowed.

1.2 Approved Competition Models

Chevrolet: Beretta, Monza 2+2, Monza Coupe, Vega Hatchback, Cavalier

Datsun: B210, 510, 710

Dodge: Challenger, Colt, Omni, Daytona

Ford: Escort, EXP, Mustang, Mustang II, Pinto, Probe, Taurus, Tempo, Thunderbird

Mercury: Bobcat, Capri, Lynx, Topaz

Oldsmobile: Firenza, Starfire

Plymouth: Arrow, Horizon, Laser, Sapporo

Pontiac: Astre, J2000, Sunfire, Sunbird, T2000

Toyota: Celica, Corolla

Any other models must be submitted to the ODS technical staff for approval before being allowed to compete.

1.2 Only cars registered as Mini-Modified cars will be allowed to compete in the Mini-Modified division.

2. General Body requirements

2.1 Car Body: All body panels and air dams must be stock appearing for the make, model and year of car as from the factory.

2.2 Overall Car Weight: Car must weigh one (1) pound per CC of engine displacement for the engine model installed in the car. Any car that has a tube frame chassis or a tube frame front front clip(ref. para 11) must add two hundred (200) pounds to the weight as determined by engine displacement. Any car that has a partial tube frame chassis (rear clip only, ref. Para 11) must add one hundred (100) pounds to the weight as determined by engine displacement. Weight includes fuel and driver. The minimum right side weight will be forty-five (45) percent of the total weight. Competition weight adjustments may be made during the season.

2.3 Added Car Weight: See ODS rules for ALL Divisions section 1.2.

2.4 Cars must meet their weight requirements at ALL times. This includes post-qualifying and post-race as the car comes off the track. No adding of fuel, water, oil or gear lube will be allowed. Wheels and tires must not be changed.

3. Detailed Car Body Requirements

Cars must be stock appearing for the make, model and year of car as from the factory.

3.1 Spoilers: A solid, non-adjustable spoiler is permitted. Spoiler must not exceed five (5) inches in height and may not exceed fifty (50) inches in width measured across the back side of the spoiler. Spoiler may not exceed the width of the rear deck lid. Spoiler must be solid 1/8" metal or �" thick polycarbonate, and be attached to and centered on the rear of the car. Spoiler braces on the back side of the spoiler will not be permitted. Spoiler must be flat, no lips or forward mounting braces will be permitted.

3.2 Windows, Lights, Mirrors: All cars must comply with NASCAR LMSC section 20J-3.2 except as amended below. This rule governs Windshields, Rear Windows and Window Nets. Windshield must be lexan and must have three interior braces. Rear window can be lexan or plexiglass and is not required to have interior braces. Two exterior window straps, 1 inch wide and 1/8 inch thick must be installed over the rear window. All other glass must be removed.

3.3 Window Net: Window Net in compliance with NASCAR LMSC rule 20J-3.2.3A must be installed.

3.4 Dash Panel: All cars must comply with NASCAR LMSC section 20J-3.3.

3.5 Fire Walls: Must have full firewalls, front and rear of driver's compartment, of not less than 22 gauge magnetic steel. Front firewall must not be altered or moved, and must be in the stock location for the make, model and year car. Firewalls must be sealed with no holes between engine compartment and driver's compartment.

3.6 Doors, Fenders, Grilles, Hood, Roof, Rear Deck Lid and Bumper Covers must be securely mounted and be acceptable to track officials, Reference NASCAR LMSC sections 20J-3.5 thru 20J-3.10. 3.6.1 Hood: Hood must be flat, and made of fiberglass or steel. No bulges or scoops of any kind will be permitted on the hood. Hood must fit tightly to the windshield with no gaps. Hood must be secured with hood pins as specified in NASCAR LMSC rule 20J-3.8. 3.6.2 Roof: Stock OEM roof should be used. If a fiberglass or aluminum roof is used, a twenty-four (24) gauge magnetic steel plate will be welded to the top of the roll cage, that is continuous from front to back and right to left. No holes in this plate will be permitted. 3.6.3 Fenders, doors, deck lids, and quarter panels must be magnetic steel, and present a stock OEM form and be mounted to the car in a manner acceptable to track officials. 3.6.4 Bumper covers may be used but must be stock appearing and acceptable to track officials.

3.7 Identification and Markings: See ODS rules for ALL Divisions section 2. Car number must be displayed in five inch high, white characters, in the upper right corner of the windshield. The engine displacement must be displayed on the hood in four (4) inch high numbers.

4. General Engine Requirements

4.1 Engine must be 4 cylinder, single cam, piston engines that was available in a production line car. Engine must match car chassis. (Ford in Ford, etc.) The following engines are allowed:

Toyota 2366cc 22R 92.0mm bore X 89.0mm stroke 2189cc 20R 88.5mm bore X 89.0mm stroke

Any other engines must be submitted to the ODS technical staff for approval before being allowed to compete.

5. Detailed Engine Requirements

Mixing of engine components from similar engines is not allowed. Smaller displacement crankshaft cannot be installed in a larger engine, essentially destroking the engine. Intake manifold must be stock for the model and displacement engine being used. Engine balancing is permitted, externally balanced engines may not be converted to fully internally balanced. Excessive material, beyond what is required to balance the rotating assembly, may not be removed from any parts.

5.1 Engine Location: Rear wheel drive cars engine must be located so that the second (2nd) spark plug from the front is inline with or forward of the front upper ball joint on the same side of the car as the spark plugs. Center of crankshaft must be located on centerline of frame/tread width. Front wheel drive cars engine must be in the stock OEM location.

5.2 Engine Height: Engine height, measured at the crankshaft centerline, must be a minimum of eleven (11) inches from the ground.

5.3 Engine Mounts: Engine mounts must comply with NASCAR LMSC rule 20J-5.3.

5.4 Engine Displacement: Engine displacement and engine stroke will be stock for the engine being used with a maximum allowable overbore of sixty thousandths (.060) of an inch.

5.5 Engine Block: The engine block must be a stock cast iron block with an OEM part number. No aftermarket, GMPerformance, or Ford SVO/SVT racing type blocks allowed. No angle cutting of block deck. The OEM part/casting number must be provided to ODS tech personnel before the car is allowed to compete.

5.5.1 Pistons must be flat top or dished aluminum OEM or OEM type replacement only. Piston pin location must remain stock. Piston ring locations must remain stock. No milling of skirt or top of piston is allowed. Toyota engines are allowed a stock .098 dome on piston. Valve relief depth in piston top cannot exceed ninety thousandths (.090) of an inch.

5.5.2 Connecting Rods must be OEM stock rods for the engine being used. Aftermarket stock appearing OEM style rods may be used. No lightening or polishing permitted. Stock rod length and journal diameter must be maintained.

5.5.3 Deck Height: Minimum piston to deck clearance is zero (0). Piston may not protrude above the block deck. Toyota .098 dome piston may exceed deck by .098 inches.

5.5.4 Oil Pan: Oil pan must comply with NASCAR LMSC rules 20J-5.5.4A and 5.5.4B Oil Coolers are not permitted.

5.6 Cylinder Head: Cylinder heads approved are 2 valve, single spark plug, stock OEM production cylinder heads for the engine being used. No dual overhead cam heads. No 4 valve per cylinder heads. The OEM part/casting number must be provided to ODS tech personnel before the car is allowed to compete.

5.6.1 Cylinder Head Modifications: No angle milling of cylinder head block surface or intake surface is permitted. Valve angle in head may not be changed. Cylinder heads may not be ported, polished or port matched in any way.

5.6.2 Valves and Valvesprings: Valves must be stock OEM type valves. Valvesprings and retainers must be steel. No Titanium valves, springs or retainers. No highflow, undercut valvestems allowed.

5.7 Crankshaft: crankshaft must be OEM stock cast crankshaft. No steel crankshafts allowed. Polishing or lightening of crankshaft will not be allowed. Stock stroke must be used. Harmonic balancer must be OEM magnetic steel elastomer type balancer.

5.8 Camshaft, Rocker Arms

5.8.1 Camshaft must be stock OEM type. Solid or Hydraulic lifters are allowed. No roller cams/lifters. Valve lifters and pushrods must be magnetic steel and comply with NASCAR LMSC rule 20J-5.8.2

5.8.2 Rocker Arms must be stock type. Rocker arm ratio must be stock. All 8 rocker arms must be of the same model, type and ratio.

5.9 Intake Manifold: The intake manifold must remain stock for the engine being used. No angle milling of any surface on the manifold is permitted. No porting, polishing or port matching is allowed in any manner. The plenum area only of the manifold may be modified in order to mount the carburetor adapter/spacer plate to the intake manifold. (see para 5.10) The adapter plate must be centered on the existing plenum opening in the manifold. Openings may be made in the manifold plenum area to match the holes in the carburetor adapter/spacer plate if there is a mismatch.

5.10 Carburator: Holley 2300 two-barrel carburetor list number 7448. No modifications allowed to carburetor except as specified below:

5.10.1 No drilling or changing of any diameter of airbleeds, metering plate passages, throttle shafts, etc. 5.10.2 No swapping of metering plates. 5.10.3 Choke butterfly may be removed. When choke linkage is removed, all linkage mounting holes must be filled with epoxy. 5.10.4 All vacuum ports/outlets must be removed and plugged with steel plugs or epoxy. 5.10.5 Jets and power valves may be changed. Power valve must be used, No power valve block-off plugs allowed. 5.10.6 Carburetor Dimensional Specifications

See Attached ODS Carburetor Specification Document.

5.10.7 Carburetor Spacer/Adapter: Solid aluminum, .750 inches thick, with two 1.5 inch diameter holes located in the center that match the carburetor. Some manufacturer's intake manifolds may require that additional holes be drilled in the spacer plate in order to mount the carburetor. If the spacer plate must be modified in this way, it must be submitted to the ODS technical inspection department for approval prior to being used in competition. The holes added must be used for mounting purposes only and oversizing or slotting of these holes will not be permitted. A one piece, two(2) hole paper gasket, maximum .065 inch thick that matches the exterior dimensions of the carburetor baseplate must be installed between the carburetor and the spacer/adapter. If the spacer plate is bolted to the intake manifold, a one piece two(2) hole paper gasket, maximum .065 inch thick that matches the exterior dimensions of the spacer must be installed between the spacer/adapter and the intake manifold. 5.10.8 Carburetor claim rule: See para 18.5. 5.10.9 Any carburetor held for inspection may be impounded for the week and will be returned the following Saturday at the track upon competitor's arrival if Carburetor is found to be legal. 5.10.10 Restrictor Plate: No restrictor plate is currently used. 5.11 Air Cleaner and Air Intake: Air cleaner must be round with a maximum diameter of twelve (12) inches. Paper style filter element only. No devices to control the flow of air within the air cleaner are allowed. Maximum height is four (4) inches. No cowl induction, ram air induction or fresh air scoops or hoses are permitted to direct outside air to the air cleaner.

6 Engine/Car Electrical System

6.1 Ignition System: Stock OEM point type distributor is permitted. Stock OEM electronic ignition system is permitted. Aftermarket electronic ignition systems, MSD or similar, are NOT allowed. Tachometer must be equipped with quick disconnect connector to allow easy removal.

6.2 Spark Plugs: Spark Plugs must comply with NASCAR LMSC rule 20J-6.2.

6.3 Alternator: Alternator must comply with NASCAR LMSC rule 20J-6.3.

6.4 The self starter must be in working order and installed in the stock location. Starter must comply with NASCAR LMSC rule 20J-6.4.

6.5 The battery must be installed in an enclosed battery box. Battery must be securely mounted and approved by track officials. Reference NASCAR LMSC rule 20J-6.5.

6.6 Electrical Switches: All electrical switches must comply with NASCAR LMSC rule 20J-6.6 An electrical cut-off switch that cuts off all power to the car must be mounted in the center of the dash that can be reached from both sides of the car and the driver.

6.7 Electrical Wiring: All wiring shall be routed in an open manner, visible, and traceable from termination point to termination point. Taping, wrapping or enclosing wires into looms is not permitted. Bundling and securing of wires is allowed using small CLEAR tie wraps only. Termination blocks are recommended for connecting or splicing wires were necessary. Terminal blocks, if used, must be in the open, visible and easily accessible. Wiring and any accessories must comply with NASCAR LMSC rule 20J-6.7.

6.8 Radios, permitting driver and crewchief communication are permitted and recommended.

7. Engine Cooling System

7.1 Water pump impellers may not be altered.

7.2 Any radiator may be used as long as radiator support sheet metal is not modified.

7.3 Radiator protection screens are allowed.

7.4 Overflow tank of at least one (1) quart capacity must be used. Overflow tank must be located under the hood. Overflow tank hose must exit from under the hood at the right side of the windshield.

7.5 If a mechanical fan is used, a fan shroud must cover the fan blades. Reference NASCAR LMSC rule 20J-7.3.

7.6 Antifreeze is not allowed. See ODS rules for ALL Divisions section 4.

8. Engine Lubrication

Engine Lubrication System must comply with NASCAR LMSC section 20J-8 except as amended below: Remote oil filters are not permitted. Oil coolers are not permitted. Accusump systems are NOT permitted.

9. Engine Exhaust System

9.1 Car exhaust system shall have one Magna Flow Performance Muffler (part # 11216) installed. The specified muffler must remain stock as from the factory. No modifications will be permitted. Modifications to this muffler may result in the loss of all points and/or other penalties as deemed appropriate by track officials.

9.2 All exhaust pipe shall be two and one half (2.5) inch outside diameter and shall be painted white. Exhaust pipe must be securely fastened to the exhaust manifold and the frame in a manner acceptable to track officials. Exhaust system may not be routed inside the driver's compartment (interior) of car.

9.3 Tailpipe must extend rearward to a point behind the driver and must turn to face the ground . Exhaust may not exit through the door.

9.4 Cars must not exceed a 99 db decibel level, as measured by track officials. Sound levels may be monitored anytime cars are on track.

9.5 Stock OEM exhaust manifold may be used. Manifold must not be ported or modified in any way. An aftermarket header is permitted. Header must exit under the car. No modifications to the firewall for header clearance is permitted.

9.6 Exhaust leaks anywhere in the system as determined by track officials will not be allowed and must be corrected.

10. Drivetrain

10.1 Clutch: Stock OEM clutch is permitted. Pressure plate must be steel. Carbon fiber clutches are not allowed. A single disc racing clutch is permitted.

10.2 Flywheel: Stock OEM flywheel is permitted. Steel SFI 1.1 approved OEM style flywheel is permitted. Aluminum flywheels are not permitted.

10.3 Bellhousing: A steel scattershield type bellhousing not less than three eights (.375) inch thick is required. OEM special production all steel bellhousing is permitted. OEM stock aluminum bellhousing may be used, but must be covered by a properly installed SFI 30.1 Safety Shield or an SFI 4.1 Automatic Trans Flexible Safety Shield. No lightening holes may be drilled or cut into the bellhousing. An inspection port of one (1) inch diameter minimum must be cut into the bottom of the bellhousing to allow clutch inspection.

10.4 Transmission: Any OEM standard production manual transmission may be used. No automatic transmissions are permitted. All forward gears and reverse must be in working order. No weight reduction of any type is permitted. Transmission must be mounted in the stock location with the stock mounting points.

10.5 Driveshaft: Driveshaft and U-joints must be similar in design to OEM production driveshaft. Driveshaft must be magnetic steel and painted white. At least one (1) U-shaped driveshaft loop, no less then two (2) inches wide and one quarter (.25) inches thick must be fastened to the floor or crossmember of the car to support the driveshaft from dropping onto the racetrack in the event of equipment failure. LMSC style 360 degree driveshaft loops are permitted.

10.6 Rear Axle: Nine inch Ford or OEM axle assembly may be used in all makes of cars. Racing axles are recommended. Locking of rears is permitted. Torque sensitive carriers are NOT allowed. Center section may be a Detroit locker or spool. Cambered rear axle housings are not permitted. Axles must be solid magnetic steel axles. Rear axle must be mounted in the stock location with the stock mounting points.

10.7 Wheels must comply with NASCAR LMSC rule 20J-10.7 except as amended. Wheel size will be thirteen (13) inch diameter, width will be six (6) inches as measured between the mounting beads. Wide five wheels are not permitted. Wheel spacers are not permitted. Heavy duty studs and lug nuts must be used.

10.8 Tires: 10.8.1 Tire: The track assigned tire is Goodyear model/compound # D2331. This tire is categorized as a Short Track Special, G24 (grooved) tread configuration. 10.8.2 Two Tire Rule: Mini-Modified teams will only be allowed to purchase two (2) new tires on race day. Only 2 new tires will be allowed on the car for qualifying/racing for an event.

11. Frames

Stock frames and tubular frames are allowed. Stock frames may reinforce front control arm and rear control arm or leaf spring mounting points and still be considered a stock frame. Cross bracing or X-bracing of the stock frame or body is allowed for frame strengthening and safety. Tube frames must be fabricated in a symmetrical manner and must not be offset to the body. Cars equipped with a rear tube frame clip only must weigh an additional one hundred (100) pounds as specified in section 2.2 of these rules. Cars equipped with a front tube frame clip and full tube frame cars must weigh an additional two hundred (200) pounds as specified in section 2.2 of these rules.

12. Suspension

Suspension must be stock except for modifications as allowed below:

12.1 Wheelbase for full tubular chassis will be a minimum of 100 inches to a maximum of 103 inches. Wheelbase for stock frame cars must be stock for the make, model and year of the car. Wheelbase tolerance will be plus (+) or minus (-) one half (1/2) inch.

12.2 Whatever bushing material is used in the left side suspension must also be used in the right side suspension.

12.3 Shocks: Racing shocks are permitted. Must meet the requirements of NASCAR LMSC rule 20J-12.3.

12.4 Spring size may be changed. Spring location on frame must remain stock. Jacking or Wedge bolts may be installed in the stock spring location. Leaf spring cars must use stock front mounting points and can use leaf spring sliders to mount the rear spring eye.

12.5 Front upper and lower control arms may be stock or fabricated. Stock control arms may be reinforced. Lower control arms must be the same length. Upper control arms must be the same length. No offset control arms allowed.

12.6 Rear control arms must use stock mounting location. A third link is allowed but must be a solid bar. A panhard bar may be used. No rear sway bar is permitted.

12.7 Front sway bay, bushings and end links must be OEM style for stock frame cars. Front sway bar for tube frame cars must comply with NASCAR LMSC rule 20J-12.2.

12.8 Tread width: The maximum tread width allowed is sixty-one (61) inches on both front and rear. A tolerance of one half inch is allowed between front and rear as long as the maximum is not exceeded.

12.9 The frame and body clearance must be a minimum of four (4) inches.

12.10 Hubs, bearings and seals must OEM stock parts.

13. Steering Components

Steering Components must be stock. Power steering is permitted. OEM steering locks must be removed. Steering wheel must have quick disconnect coupling per NASCAR LMSC section 20J-13.

14. Brakes and Brake Cooling

Brakes must be stock for the make model and year car. Aftermarket proportioning valves are not permitted.

15. Fuel: See ODS rules for ALL Divisions section 5.

16. Fuel System

The Fuel System must comply with NASCAR LMSC section 20J-16 except as amended below: This includes: Fuel Cell, Fuel Cell Container, Installation, Fuel Filler, Fuel Cell Vent, Fuel Lines and Fuel Fill Containers.

16.1 The fuel cell will have a minimum capacity of eight (8) gallons and a maximum capacity of sixteen (16) gallons.

16.2 NO external fuel fill is allowed.

16.3 If the fuel line is routed through the driver's compartment, it must run through a magnetic steel conduit. Conduit must be secured to the floorpan and sealed where it passes through the front and rear firewalls.

16.4 Fuel cell must maintain a minimum ground clearance of eight (8) inches.

16.5 Fuel Pump: 16.5.1Cars may use a mechanical fuel pump attached to and mechanically driven from the engine. 16.5.2 An electric fuel pump may be used and must be mounted in the engine compartment. 16.5.3 Electric fuel pumps must be wired with both of the following two safety devices inline with the positive (+12vdc) wire. A mercury filled switch, witch will turn the fuel pump off in the event of a roll-over. (McMaster-Carr p/n 7689 K52 is recommended) And an oil pressure activated switch, witch will turn the fuel pump off if the engine stops running and oil pressure drops to zero. 16.5.4 Only one (1) fuel pump is permitted.

17. Personnel Safety Requirements and Roll Bars

17.1 Driver Safety Equipment. See ODS rules for ALL Divisions section 6.

17.2 Roll Bars: The roll cage must comply with NASCAR LMSC rule/section 20J-17.4. In addition, a one (1) piece, one eighth (1/8) inch thick magnetic steel plate must be installed over the outside of the driver's door bars. This plate shall cover the entire driver's side door area and must be welded to the door bars of the roll cage. Attachment using bolts or rivets will not be allowed. Holes of any kind will not be allowed. A multiple part plate installation may be acceptable, due to roll cage construction, with prior approval of track officials. All roll bars within the driver's reach must be covered with roll bar padding. Hi-density, flame resistant, SFI 45.1 approved impact padding is highly recommended.

17.3 Fire System: On board five (5) pound fire suppression system with two (2) nozzles, directed near the driver is highly recommended. Fire system activation handle must be within reach of the driver when seated normally in the car with harness fully tightened. Fire system bottle must be securely mounted to the chassis with a pressure gauge in plain view for inspection purposes. Safety pins used to prevent accidental discharge of the fire system at the fire bottle head and the activation handle MUST be pulled to allow the system to function any time the car is on the track. Reference NASCAR rule 6-4C. As a minimum the car must have a working fire extinguisher of at least a 2 pound capacity and rated 10- B:C and DOT approved. A charge pressure gauge on the fire extinguisher is required. Fire extinguisher mounting brackets must be metal and of the quick release type. Fire extinguisher must not be taped or tied to the bracket. Plastic brackets are not acceptable.

18. Inspections, Protests and Claims

18.1 Pre-Race Inspection: Any pre-race inspection failures or non-compliance with these rules may result in not being allowed to participate or compete in the event. Additional weight or rear of field starts may be imposed. The penalty for inspection failure is determined by the race director.

18.2 Post Race Inspection: Any post-race inspection failure may result in forfeiture of some or all prize money, contingency money and points earned for that event. Any illegal part found will be surrendered to NASCAR track officials. No equipment or part will be considered approved by reason of having passed through previous inspections. Pre-race inspections of a particular part or rule do not preclude post race inspections. The penalty for inspection failure is determined by the race director.

18.3 Protests: No protests will be accepted after ten (10) minutes past the drop of the checkered flag in the Mini-Modified feature race. In the final two weeks of the season any competitor protests must be made to an ODS Tech official, who will determine if the protest is allowed. Track teardowns and post race inspections will be conducted as normal including the final night of competition. ODS will retain fifty (50) percent of all protest money. The protesting driver/owner will the same part/parts inspected on their car. The cost to protest, (teardown fee), particular items is:

Cylinder Heads $200 Connecting Rods $300 Crankshaft $750

18.4 Teardowns: Any driver/owner refusing a request from NASCAR track officials to teardown for post-race inspection or protest for any reason will be placed on a one (1) race suspension. The driver will be held responsible for the refusal to teardown. The driver will lose all points earned for the current event. Refusal to teardown a second time will result in the loss of all points accrued during the season and suspension for the remainder of the current season. ODS track officials reserve the right to teardown at any time.

18.5 Carburetor Claims: The carburetor is subject to a claim rule. The cost to claim a carburetor is $75. Only the driver can claim the carburetor. Claim fee must be presented to the race director within 10 minutes from the waving of the checkered flag ending the Mini-Modified feature race. Only drivers finishing in the top 5 positions AND are in the top 5 in the division point standings may claim a carburetor. Only drivers finishing in the top 5 positions AND are in the top 5 in the point standings are subject to being claimed. Refusal to surrender a claimed carburetor will result in a two race suspension, forfeiture of points for the current race and loss of right to claim a carburetor for a calendar year. The claimed part must be run by the claiming driver in the next race in which he competes. No claims allowed on the final night of competition.
