It is MANDATORY that ALL cars competing in these divisions have a ONE (1) PIECE, one –eighth (1/8) inch thick, magnetic steel plate installed over the OUTSIDE of the driver’s side door bars. It shall cover the ENTIRE driver’s side door area and MUST BE WELDED to the roll bars. Bolts, rivets, etc to attach WILL NOT BE ALLOWED, nor will holes of any kind be permitted.

NOTICE TO LATE MODEL STOCK CAR DRIVERS:

As of 10/26/01 – the above mentioned rule is not mandatory. However, it is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED by NASCAR to install this plate as future modifications / updates may incorporate this rule.
