Old Dominion Speedway announced today that Comcast will be taping and airing 6-8 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series races from the historic facility beginning with the “ODS Shakedown” on April 21, 2007.   

Taping will be accomplished with a mobile television crew, production truck, (4) cameras and support crew.  Facilities will be constructed to support the taping which include permanent camera placement and angles to capture the racing excitement at Old Dominion.

 Additionally a small broadcast stage will be built for pre-race and post-race interviews to highlight drivers, teams and sponsors. 

The schedule for taping of Old Dominion Speedway’s NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Races and events is:

Saturday, April 21st - The “ODS Shakedown” - 250LM
Saturday, May 12th – 100LM & 75GS
Saturday, June 6th – 200LM
Saturday, June 23rd – 200LM
Saturday, July 21st – 200LM
Saturday, August 11th – 75LM & 100GS
Saturday, September 15th – 200LM
Saturday, October 20th – The ODS Big One” - 250LM

Re-airing will be available to Comcast cable subscribers in local cable markets.
